Edge Public is pleased to announce that Nelnet has been awarded ECPA-2026108 for ADA accessibility giving public agencies a direct path to one of the country's established names in government services. Nelnet's Digital Accessibility Services team helps organizations move accessibility from a compliance obligation to a lasting practice, starting with assessments that identify barriers and legal risk. From there, Nelnet remediates websites, documents, and mobile apps so they work for people who rely on assistive technology, and trains staff to build accessibility into everyday workflows. Agencies can choose a fully managed Accessibility Team as a Service or a hybrid model that pairs automated scanning tools with manual remediation and training. When the Town of Superior, Colorado needed to meet new state accessibility mandates, Nelnet provided end-to-end support from content assessment through remediation and staff training. Because ECPA-2026109 was competitively solicited, eligible agencies can use it without issuing their own RFP, saving time while meeting procurement requirements.

Nelnet is a publicly traded company with a long history serving federal, state, and local government, and its Digital Accessibility Services team combines technical expertise with lived experience of disability. Services include expert-led accessibility assessments, remediation of websites, documents, and mobile apps, staff training, and VPAT and ACR reporting against WCAG standards. For agencies without in-house accessibility staff, Nelnet also offers Accessibility Team as a Service, which provides a dedicated team of experts on demand. K-12 districts, municipalities, colleges, and other public entities can engage Nelnet directly under this contract.
