That contract structure allows cities, counties, school districts, and higher-ed institutions to procure turnkey sports surfaces and related site work without running their own full RFP, while still leveraging a competitively bid, lead-agency contract. Leveraging Byrne & Jones’ track record on turf fields, court systems, and sports complexes, the AFI/Edge Public contract is positioned as a streamlined path to modernize or expand athletic facilities with a qualified, experienced sports builder.
